Mathematical Entrepreneurship

A few years ago, I started to identify myself as a mathematical entrepreneur due to my professional experience as both a mathematician and entrepreneur .


Today, I noticed a workshop "Fostering mathematical entrepreneurship: creating new businesses for  impact & wealth" organized by IMA: http://www.ima.umn.edu/2011-2012/SW8.1-3.12/.

So this notion of  mathematical entrepreneurship and its practice has been accepted even in academic community.   How exciting!
